For MnEEP, communications are a vital component for fulfilling the organization’s mission to drive systems change and build race equity in education. Good Work Group started from the ground up to interview key stakeholders and begin to build a strong communications plan that focused on increasing understanding of and advocacy for MnEEP’s Big Bold Goals.

Together, we built a strategic communications plan for advocacy storytelling and movement building; staff blogs and publications; and authentic public relations and message amplification. From there, we created a web content strategy that supported thought leadership and calls to action for grassroots advocacy. In addition, the team and I developed strategic key messaging and a thought-leadership glossary of key race equity terminology.

Good Work Group continues to work with the team to support key communications strategies and tactics, including: website content strategy and development; social media strategy; toolkit development and editing; thought leadership consulting for policy briefs, agendas, and press releases; and support and development of online toolkits; newsletters; staff blogs; policy reports; advocacy campaigns; fundraising campaigns; and more.
